Hi all,
I was wondering how some of you break in your Camaro's? I have a new 2017 and the OM says 1,500 miles to keep it under 4k on the tach and do not go beyond 80 MPH.

Is there anything else? Like oil changes before the 1,500 mile mark?

Also was wondering what type on Non-Wax to use on the car, a buddy recommended a product called Liquid Glass which is a carbon based sealer which bonds with the finish.

Just wondering what some of you use.

I went ahead and ran mine to the 5,000 mile mark. No problems, just make sure to use the correct weight synthetic oil and keep records and receipts for the oil/filter for warranty reasons.

I actually use Mcguiars spray-on wax that gets sprayed on a wet car before you dry. The water based paint is pretty soft so any protection is good in my book, I'm just taking the easy way out.
