I just installed an engine in a '71 Monte Carlo. The starter circuit wires need replacement. I can't find anything on the internet, and I need the car running by Monday. Can you gents tell me if a fuse or fusible link is needed for the switch terminal on the solenoid? Thanks.

There should be no fuse or fusible link in the wire connected to the "S" terminal on the solenoid.

Those who choose an automatic transmission want transportation. Those who choose a manual transmission want to drive.
