As per a request, here is my new 2016 Z06. I picked it up at the NCM and drove it 3400 miles back home to CA. Great car. I averaged 22.1 mpg for the whole trip with several tanks of 24 & 25 mpg, and that is at 75 & 80 mph. (legal speed limit in Texas) It is a pretty basic car. Besides the obvious yellow, it has the 2LZ dark gray interior w/two-tone seats, 7 spd manual, chrome wheels, yellow calipers, carbon fiber top, performance data recorder and a Jake hood stripe. The PDR includes the camera etc. for reviewing your track runs, or whatever, navigation, stereo, and the best part, front cameras so you don't run into a curb. I use it every time I park and it works great.

I highly recommend the Museum delivery. It takes most of the day for the personal tour of the factory and museum, and the one on one 'tour' of the car and demonstrations of all the options, way more than you can remember. They made an announcement as my delivery guy drove me out of the building, and all the NCM employees came out and applauded as we drove by. Nice touch. Once outside, he said 'you have 650hp, do you want to hear it?' Well yea! So he set the exhaust on sport mode which is just right for everyday driving. However, the coolest part of the day is at the Corvette plant where they have a marque over the entrance door. Up in lights is the name of each person who is picking up their new Corvette at the Museum that day. How cool is that!

Congrats. We got one in March of 201t and we love it. Ours is Daytona sunrise orange metallic with elz Kalahari. We kept it stock the first 8 mo ths..lol. just added a ton of mods. Without nitrous it has 687 hp and 830tq to the wheels now. We are almost ready to unleash the nitrous. That will add up to 400 more.

Glad to see another c7z owner here.
