Corvette on line just released the article on a 61 silver Corvette covered in dust with flat tires. I have seen this image at least three times in the past. It looks as though someone sprinkled dust over the car with the aid of a vacuum cleaner. I am sure someone walked around it for the past decades not realizing it was there. The back of the building looks like there is a window looking on to a street. No one would bother to look in or suspect it was anything but a barrel storage site.
Finally after some crafty pre advertising it is listed on E Bay. I am sure the articles written are " documentation " as to its authenticity of being a rare find in todays car searches. I'm thinking informative articles on Corvettes are getting harder to write on subjects not already beat into the ground.
I don't know about you but I saved the dust from the last two I purchased. It will be an option in the future, labeled and certified by no less that an NCRS judge.

Over 300 individuals have read this post yet not one had a negative or positive response / opinion. It is hard to believe the number of people having an interest in Corvettes sit back read others comments with no heart beat. Its not a novel or filled with rhetorical questions. The dyeing interest will eventually have knowledgeable people either leaving the forum or communication by e mail.
Well I did my best. Thanks to those that have participated.

I guess I'm missing the OP's original point. Is he suggesting that the sale listing was fraudulent, or what?

Those who choose an automatic transmission want transportation. Those who choose a manual transmission want to drive.

This is why I didn't respond when I saw it originally, what 8 months ago. I wasn't exactly sure what the OP wanted people to say (er, type) in reply. *sighs*
