Great work. I just built this rotisserie myself thanks to your posts! Can't wait to get started on mine this winter. How do you find the EMS parts fitting? I am missing the front gravel guard on my car, that large pan below the grille and behind the bumper. I see they make them for the rear but can't find that part for the front. Anyone know who makes that part?

Hi Andrew, You are making great progress there. A floor swap is a huge amount of detailed work, but what a fantastic result you will have.
A young friend did his Dodge Challenger without painting the car. Well over a week, full time, of finishing after the floor was placed.
He's got three Mopars from the 70's and apparently they all need floors as there was something off spec in the seam sealer used in the build that was actually corrosive.
Mostly Old Parts And Rust is how I tease him, but he just shoots back at least I don't have an Edsel.

I've taken a much needed break the past few months. I've been hiking the Foothills trail in SC/NC in October and enjoying the outdoors. I just needed a time out from the car and everything.
I've been back to work this week continuing the welding of the new floor pan.

Soon I will need to strip the frame and mount the body, then hang the doors to check out the panel alignment. Fingers crossed!

Coming right along, Andy! I see building a rotisserie is in the future for me. I'm doing some small floor, rocker, and brace repair with the body still on the frame. Just can't justify pulling the body off yet. Keep up the good work.

The rotisserie has been the most valuable tool so far. Makes everything so much easer!!

I completely disassembled the engine. #6 cylinder had a sleeve in it and big crack protruding from behind the sleeve. #1 cylinder had been burning the water also and the valves were very rusty. I kept all of the good internal parts and scraped the block, heads, and intake.

I steam cleaned the frame and scraped off all the crud and steamed it again! It came very clean. Even the cross member insides came clean, a ton of red dirt was in there.
