The most difficult spot for me to repair as far as rust was on the lower front portion of the rear pontoon fender. It looked easy but since I'm not a body man and this was actually the first car I was able to help out on the body with it was a pain for me.

Here is a view of the passenger side. This was the worst of it but not the most difficult to repair. I was very lucky with regard to rust as there wasn't as much as I expected with the car coming from minnesota

Hi Mr49. Looking good, are you going to have the underside blasted? One area that is often lefts is the channels and transverse members. once blasted and epoxy primed my panel guy, if he likes you and the car, spends about half a day or more on air basting them out, neutralizing them and then washing and flooding them with non setting sealer products. Sometimes he will even pour trans fluid into door bottoms as its thin enough to get into the folded seam and stay there. Caulking it with any setting product and painting it heavily just makes a pocket that is trapped air and water.
This is a really messy job so do it out in the gravel yard.
