How many of you remember the Blue eye project? Haven't been any posts about it for years. I checked their web site every few months and no up dates. A few days ago Kari, the Blue eye guy, contacted me. I ask him to send me some pics af it. Here is what he sent.

A great looking car! A lot of work has gone into that one.

Looks like good work. I can't remember the name of the car but I remember a fleetline custom that was the first I remember where they used the VW or Mercedes headlights. I liked it a lot. This one seems to have a little too much "droop" for my tastes. By that i mean it looks as if you placed it in a oven and slowly melted it, till each end started drooping downward. Still a beautiful car and the kind of work I wish I was able to accomplish.

wow, flashback to my early days of the internet. lol

I always admired all the workmanship that went into it, even if it wasn't my taste.
Great metal work.

He has been working on for years!!! Still not done I don't think. He was a constant poster here then his business took off and he didn't post as much or work on the car.

Hi

Thanks for comments.

I found M-80 Project after I modify my project. Both cars have some same kind of modifications but it's actually coincidence.
All my Project modifications have been done in year 2001-2002

M-80 uses Mercedes front lights and I use Mini lights.

Rear bumper might be originate from '54. I don't know.
It has modify quite much also.
Front bumper is made by myself, center of it is from Ford truck grille....

As Bob told, I have been quite busy with my business, but I try to get Blue-Eye ready for summer 2016.
In next winter I put LS1 engine on it.....

Kari, are you the guy who made your own trans adapter plate, or do I have you confused with someone else?

Please know that you still have my undying respect and admiration. I don't know of anyone else who has made an adapter like that.

Hi

Here are some updates of Blue Eye

Because I have A/C from that Camaro, I decide to put that in the Blue Eye. Simple.....yeee...No.

Also I took cruise control and gauges from Camaro too.

Some fiberclass covers have been made to engine room.

Lot of electric work has been done, it might have chance to get ready for summer 2017. It only depends do I have enough time and feel to do it.

Just started engine at first time after putting it into Blue-Eye.
I really got some energy for this project.
Lot of work still have to do, but step by step onwards.
