I have a 2000 Z28. Pinion Seal leaking. Looking for tips on replacing / tooling needed, and concerns on crush sleeve if any. Thanks

    In response to flynl

I had one done at dealer under warrenty and they just took it apart and reusd the crush sleeve.

Now a year or two ago i did the same. Reused the crush sleeve and just did the seal.

Be sure to lube it before install.

Nows the time for a gear change or new unit if you have problems. I Just aquired another Z and have a problem with the locker. Im going with a new locker and gears and a new crush sleeve now tho.
