I bought new tailgate weatherstrip from Dunchuk and realized that there are two ways that I could put it on. There instructions don't show a way to orient the rubber. One way would have a 1/2" flat side facing the back of the tailgate that would go against the body opening and the other way would have about a 1/4" flat side facing the back of the tailgate. The tailgate in not on the car so I can't see if one way fits or seals better that the other. I have tried looking at it both ways and it looks as though it could be put on either way. Has anyone installed this weather strip and what is the correct way to orient it. I've seen guys put on door weatherstip wrong so I don't want to do this wrong.
Thanks

I believe the second way is the correct way. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
