Fuel getting all the way through the fuel rail to the injectors.... Injectors not spraying. Replaced distributor cap as it was shot. Replaced rotor button. Replaced ECM. Getting spark from the ignition coil but I'm not sure if it's enough.... Unplugged the 3 prong plug on the side of the motor and the water pump looking plug both what I thought were the TCM's.... I'm at a loss... Just trying to help a friend but I hope I'm not in over my head.

If it is TBFI , I read they make a small device called a Noid light ;

https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?p=noid+lit e&am...

You unplug the electrical connector from the injector & plug the Noid light into the connector .

Try to start the car . If the electronics is generating the electrical pulses to male the injector pulse , the light should flash .

Test both injector connectors . If the Noid light does not flash , the problem lies elsewhere in the electrical / electronics of the car .

If the Noid light does flash , for both connectors , I would guess the injectors are bad or not getting gasoline . I think there are screens that can be replaced . Also a pressure regulator .

Im just dug out my book with the wiring diagram . You should have a 7.5 amp fuse that powers the injector circuit , in the fuse box . Check it & check ( with fuse un plugged ) is one side of the fuse " socket " is hot - 12 VDC ?

I just finished working on my 1990 TBI 350 for almost the exact problem. Mine was running fine, shut it off went in for the night, came out next morning and it would only turn over but would not start. It was not getting fuel into the throttle body. After extensive checks, and some parts replaced, I found that the Ignition Module was the problem located under the distributor cap. Tax and all, at Oreilly’s, was around $60.
