Need help, I installed a ready to run msd dist. in my 91 camaro but cant get tach. to read correctly looked for a filter they said may need to be removed but couldn't find it, Also tried resisters in line no luck tach. still reads to high. Could i get some help if anyone has figured this problem out. chevysstrk

According to the folks at thirdgen.org, GM did away with the tach filter after 1987. I haven't seen one on mine; I admit I never had a reason to look for it.
