I found that Classic Industries has reproduction seat mounts for 62-64 Impala SS bucket seats. They also have replacement springs for the seat bottom and the seat back. As a bonus they have also reproduced the adjustment slides that bolt to the bottom of the seats. When the slides are bolted to the seats and the mounts are bolted to the slides, it is simple to figure out where to weld the mounts to the floor. I am sure everyone knows that the bucket seat chrome trim is being reproduced also. I found a pair of 62 SS seats and am rebuilding them to install in my 61 Biscayne.

Now if they would only reproduce the seat bottom and back frames it would be much easier to add bucket seats to non bucket seat cars.

Thanks Classic Industries for your great parts and service.
