Hello. Thanks for the info. Looking for (ss stripes ? ) Build sheet says yf8 spec paint/copo. Yf8 is black stripes according to web info I have seen only info on 73 Camero. Was told buy several paint shops that 73 Monte never came from factory with stripes.

I special ordered a new 73 Monte S Coupe and no factory stripes were available. There was no SS model in 73.

There were lots of dealer added aftermarket pin stripes.

Hello. Yes everyone says no stripes ava. in 73 for Monte. Nor was ss pkg, I have seen something on web that stripes were available but only certain color cars. Can someone tell me what yf8 spec. paint/copo means, Rpo code yf8 stands for black stripe. Only thing I can find is about 73 Cam, and Luguna. Also need info on rpo code pe2 poly wheel.Paint code 66 stripe code 19 Thanks

Hello; Thanks for the Info. I found that you are correct. I typed in yf8 pin stripes and found a very good web site for GM archives. (MC) Also found the wheel code is for turbine wheels. I am trying to find out model web said z03 landau or z76 S One or the other but not both codes I have found no num on bb pro, nor bucket seat cars. Thanks again for your help Ken

My feeble recollection is that the turbine wheels weren't available until the 74 model year.

My car had the swivel buckets but I didn't save any documentation/option codes on the car.
