Found this GM door skin in my garage (just bought the house); photos are below. Any idea what the model/make is?

I tracked the part number down in one old GM publication, but all it could tell me was that this particular door was discontinued by 1981.

Any help would be appreciated!

All I can see is a white box with a small red X, no pics.

8716935 is the GM part number and yes, I can see the three pics in question. That L/H door skin is def something from ca. 1970-77 and is probably a 4 door sedan/wagon piece.

It's for a '70 to '72 Pontiac Grand Prix

I think you're absolutely right! Thank you. I've posted on several fora, here and elsewhere, and have gotten many suggestions, but yours is the only one with the right handle / keyhole configuration, and with the mirror sufficiently far forward.

To celebrate I'm going to go move it from the floor of my garage to somewhere less vulnerable to water puddling.

It's the door handle that gives it away. As to why I knew that the door handle was for a Grand Prix, I have no idea. It did get me to join the forum though.
