I went and did our High School car show today and my boy parked his Bronco next to me. And a car friend gave me a gift!

I finally made some headway today. The rear axle is centered, leveled, plumbed, set at ride height, and the pinion is at 3 degrees. Everything is braced and tacked in place and I hope to start tacking in the 4 link this week!

Good idea for keeping the housing in place. I'm going to put that in my tips & tricks folder.

Thanks Tommy! I can't take the credit though. Alex Gambino taught me that trick over the phone! I had a really good day today. Most everything on the rearend is tacked in and ready for final welding! Pics:

Thanks! Make sure you do a better job than me. I messed up a measurement and had to cut the tack welds on 6 of the pieces and realign the axle. Three steps forward and two steps back...

Better to cut tack welds than full welds. At least you caught it. I've had my share of "didn't catch its".
