Working on a 1980 Camaro right now. Its getting the roller cam 350 TBI engine and TBI setup from a 90s G-van van, a 200-4r from a 1988 Monte Carlo SS, Hooker super comp headers, 2.5" dual Pypes exhaust and a 3rd gen F-body serpentine belt setup. The attempt is to make it as factory appearing as possible. Is not a hotrod just a daily driver/cruiser than needs to start when it is cold outside and not ping on 87 octane in the heat of summer. Its even getting a pair of high flow thunderbolt 2.5" bullet cats added. The car will have much better driveability than stock, make more HP than the original LG4, run cleaner and get better mileage than the old 4spd it had.

You're right, not a lot of traffic on here.
I've had a 74' Camaro sitting around for a couple of years. Originally an inline 6 with a 3-speed. Kid I bought it from had a 468 in it, he wanted to drop that into a truck. The body is rough but not a lot of rust. Not looking for a show car
I'm rounding up the parts to drop an LS3 and TR6060 into it at the moment. Never worked on a drive train like this before, sounded like fun, time will tell. I have a 10 bolt posi with 3.42:1 out of an 81 from a project waaaaay in the past.
Picked up the drive train about 3 months ago from a parted out 2010 Camaro and been trying to learn what it takes to get this combo to work.
Always been partial to the American Racing 200S wheels, I'll give those a try on this 74'.
I'll update you if I manage to get this thing running.

Well guess Ill reply even though not a 2nd gen Camaro but is a GM car and well also a 3rd gen (sons car) this what we been working on both Pontiac Firebird Formulas.

Mine is a 1977 400 4speed soon like to update carb and maybe do some frame ties and some interior work.

Sons car 1989 350 700r work that been done is Holley Stealth Ram, Frame ties, 700r rebuilt with trans go shift kit. Spoiler changed out to ducktail (painted black now) the wrap around spoiler was shout typical for these cars ducktail looks good though :). Possible new drive shaft and rear end getting a lot vibration in it.

We have a father/son project '72 SS396 4-speed AC car in many pieces. Wish I had one of those 1200 bodies GM tossed away! This one will have little original left when done as it needs lots of sheetmetal. I picked it up quite a few years ago. It had a '67 396 in it that had swallowed screws or something in two cylinders and the block was cracked too. Unfortunately we've made no real progress on it the last few years - but on a positive note, most of the parts I couldn't get years ago are available now! There weren't a lot of '72 SS396 cars, and factory AC in a low-option 4-speed big block car seems a little unusual to me.
