Cool! Anything will do.

Hey, look for Leakey trans lines on your Impala SS. Swedge ends leak, very common. Will be wet on Lower left of radiator support. They cost about $60. Two lines, two adaptors.

If I was in your place, i would any day prefer a 2012 SS. For all the personal reasons.

Bought a 2011 2ss camaro. The car is a blast to drive. Loaded with every option. It is an automatic put the paddle shift on the steering wheel, adds to the enjoyment. HUD is a nice feature. Shows all the info without looking to the dash. Large sun roof is as close to a convertible without all the wind. Looks , power and stance from all angles make the camaro an all around fun car. Will post some pics.
