1979 Monza wagon..never knew they sold these....or even had a Monza wagon...looks mostly like a Vega wagon.

Yes, the first time you could get a "Vega" with some other than a 4 cylinder.

I don't remember the year, but I had a Monza w/a 262 or 265 in it. That thing would scoot!!!

It would also get 20 mpg on the road.

But, it was junk. The door was to heavy for the hinges, the motor was to heavy for the front-end and tires (13").

Your car was probably a 1975 model with a 262 V8; I believe Chevy went with the 305 for 1976 up and also beefed up the brakes, suspension as well as the rear end that same year.
