Damn that bel air is clean! I hope to have mine painted that same color eventually. Azure aqua was the factory color of my car. Wish I knew about reading trim tags back in '02 when I had it painted. Might of just went that route then.

I was going to post this on May 3rd and forgot.

The first photo was taken on our wedding day, a rainy May 3rd, 1964. The car was decorated with white shoe polish. 52 years ago. Two keepers, the bride and the car, still have both.

Second photo taken about 5 years ago in front of the defunct dealership in Geraldine MT. where I bought it.

Great pics!

Picked this project up a few months ago to give me something to do while I'm working on long term projects. Very solid with 30 year old paint in decent shape. Original panels.

Second pic is of an option for the drive train (minus the boat headers).

I couldn't agree more. X-frames and W engines belong together!

Those who choose an automatic transmission want transportation. Those who choose a manual transmission want to drive.

My dad's '63 Impala SS after being pulled from the garage after being stored for 35 years.

Now belongs to me after his passing in February of this year. Here is the car after I spent a couple months making the car mechanically sound again so I could chauffeur my niece at her wedding.

93k miles, daily driven from 1963 through 1976. Still had bias ply snow tires on it when I got it out of storage. Car is very much a survivor still wearing the original paint, all original interior, etc.
