Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Dzauto, this red 56 210 used to run around Mustang during the monthly poker runs. :-) I miss my friends in Oklahoma.

Tim, the plastic primer spray paint and the gloss clear were both just the cheap "Valspar" brand that Lowes carries. The latex was just a sample size of their satin wall paint.

I had the vintage air vents that I wasn't going to use for test pieces. I was very tickled to see the finish I got with the brushes latex and clear coat.

Next years project is a 5 speed and new carpet, etc. (Just don't tell my wife yet!)

It is FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY sooooooooooooo nice to see some 55-7s with manual trannys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The installation of AC plus a manual tranny just makes the car so RIGHT!

I'm so sick and tired of people whining about being old and tired of shifting. I'll be 70 next month and I would NOT have an auto tranny in any of my cars!

It's a T56 Magnum 6-speed so I've got lotsa gears too.

We have 2 different versions of a dash extension that we make. They may help some of you that run into these sort of problems with mounting A/C vents and other various things under your dash.
