Survey is CLOSED.

Results are interesting - considering this post was found in the 1958-1976 forums.

The winner is 1958

Second place is 1962

Third place is 1964

Tied for fourth is 1959/1963/1965

Fifth place is 1961

Sixth place is 1967

What really is sad is that 1971 only received one vote - and that in my opinion is one fine car - the most Cadillac in appearance (Caprice) and with the 454 - the ultimate turnpike cruiser.

The years which received no votes?

1970, 1972-1977

Okay Jens, we can breath easier.... the Swiffer Girls kept me honest and I did not take any payola to fudge the results.

Weird about the 1958; I figured that 1964 would win hands down.

I'll say in all fairness; the 1958 does have a certain vibe depending on which color it's painted and which trim package was selected. I say that because a baby blue Impala convertible comes across quite different than a Biscayne 4 door sedan in a darker color like black or red.

1962 Studebaker Lark 4 door 350 Chevy/TH350

I would've chosen 72, but out of pure bias.

Waiting to build my 400.

I have had a ‘64, a ‘72, and a ‘74. I loved them all. The ‘72 was best to the end IMHO.
