And with this post Tony will be sorry he didn't clarify "your ride" a little better

Right now it is going through a transformation to eliminate the tandem axles, install modern (2007 Freightliner) bus axles, air brake, air bagged, with full dump valves to squat it down for loading. Oh yeah, planning on a ramp bed for hauling projects...

A rare sight in Scotland, but there's been a growing number over the last three or four years - I reckon there'll be about 20 Tri-Fives here now.

Ours for the last 16 years, not perfect by any means, but we love her dearly -

Here is my 55. It's been my daily driver since April of 2002.

The truck is the next project we are looking for. We need a truck to pull our camper and my oldest daughter wants one to drive in a few years when she gets her license.

As you can tell we are partial to 4 doors.

Absolutely gorgeous, Scotty.... I had to look 2 or three time to make sure I was looking at a four-door.

Just because your car/truck was "Made In America" doesn't mean it's American made... think about it. Buy American First.

Currently FULLY disassembled and getting paint and bondo removed to expose what lies beneath. So far, very few surprises; very solid! The paint looks shiny and nice, but the bondo was 1/4" thick or better in spots around the rear fenders and driver's side tail light areas. I will be keeping the Nomad rear wheel openings, just (hopefully) smoothing the seam a little better to minimize the bondo. It will stay solid black, as original, with full BelAir trim.

Your 150 would make a nice fuely or 270 horse car.

I could see a nostalgia build. I ran a bored and stroked #519 283 in my old 59 Vette, and our '62 runs 12.14 in the 1/4 on it's original 327, that has been stroked... went 12.77 with the original 300 HP heads!

I'm wanting to make the 57 my daily driver after my next deployment, so I have to keep it reliable. Since I need to have it running by Sept, I will probably keep it simple for now. Rebuild stock brakes, rear end and fuel system, and just get what I need to get it on the road for now.

This was my Dad's car during highschool and into his early 20's. He parked it outside in 1973 after some engine problems where it sat until 1994 when we moved it into the barn. I began working on it in 2004 and had everything finished by 2010.

The day I loaded it up:

Great color combo and story.

Five things that you cannot recover in life:

* The Stone after it's thrown
* The Word after it's said
* An Occasion after it's missed
* The Time after it's gone
* A person after they die
