Here is my 55. It's been my daily driver since April of 2002.
The truck is the next project we are looking for. We need a truck to pull our camper and my oldest daughter wants one to drive in a few years when she gets her license.
@Charles, I din't get any bucks in the trunk, but he did give me a pair of '59 and earlier staggered Corvette valve covers and two gallons of white Imron paint.

Currently FULLY disassembled and getting paint and bondo removed to expose what lies beneath. So far, very few surprises; very solid! The paint looks shiny and nice, but the bondo was 1/4" thick or better in spots around the rear fenders and driver's side tail light areas. I will be keeping the Nomad rear wheel openings, just (hopefully) smoothing the seam a little better to minimize the bondo. It will stay solid black, as original, with full BelAir trim.
Your 150 would make a nice fuely or 270 horse car.
I could see a nostalgia build. I ran a bored and stroked #519 283 in my old 59 Vette, and our '62 runs 12.14 in the 1/4 on it's original 327, that has been stroked... went 12.77 with the original 300 HP heads!
I'm wanting to make the 57 my daily driver after my next deployment, so I have to keep it reliable. Since I need to have it running by Sept, I will probably keep it simple for now. Rebuild stock brakes, rear end and fuel system, and just get what I need to get it on the road for now.

This was my Dad's car during highschool and into his early 20's. He parked it outside in 1973 after some engine problems where it sat until 1994 when we moved it into the barn. I began working on it in 2004 and had everything finished by 2010.
The day I loaded it up:
As it sits today:
I have a fever and the only perscription is more cow bell. Christopher Walken
Thanks guys it means a lot coming from this group. Colors are GM Torch Red and Hummer Black Diamond. The Black Diamond has a bit of flake in it. (helps hide the dust)

Sorry, I'm new and haven't figured out how to just add a post to the topic and also how to add an image file, like a jpg? I read the commonly asked questions and that didn't help. I'd appreciate any help for this newbie-Thanks!

Here is my new Nomad. It was last registered in 1972. I worked on it with my ex-son-in-law back in the mid 90's. The guy who owned it got into $$ trouble, and I ended up with it;
It has a new 468" big block, PDB, P/S, Power Windows and door poppers. The paint is a 2011 Lexus color with additional gold poly (looks like metalflake), and the interior is tan leather with 2010 Lincoln 6 way seats
I has a new CPP 500 steering box, a 200R4 to be installed along with Vintage Air and Retro Sound.
My old 55 ran mid 12's ,and this thing feels a ton faster !!!
