Hey Guys,
Am starting to look at air rez, hotels, to come over for this year's CFAC. Tryin' to figure out travel dates, how long to stay, what else might be happening, it's my favorite event, and have always had a very good time with great people.

Looking forward to this year....
Wish I could bring the '55 gasser, which is running and today I got plates for it!
Street Legal, Wooopeeee!
Aloha,
Willy

I block this weekend out each year too. It's a pretty busy time for me otherwise, and CFAC and the folks I visit with make it a great weekend.
You get yourself "stateside" and we'll keep ya busy. Paula and I could put you (and your wife if you bring her...hint hint) up in "the Hawaiian room" here at the Cardey house for a few nights.
Think about it and send me a PM if you want to discuss it more. The offer's solid.

And rumor has it that our CT parking area may become a sandy beach complete with a lifeguard tower.

Paul, if ChevyTalk beach is going to be done this year, we're going to need a planning and engineering committee to start up pretty soon.

Yes it is. Amazing how well it matches the color of the wagon it rides on. Almost as if it was saying "I'm an exact match! Don't ever take me off and put me back in that guys garage!"

We are ready to rock this year. Heck it only took two years for my idea to take hold...LOL!
I've got the 2x4's only need toe 1x2's for the seating area. Like I said last year, a few Sterilite containers filled with sand, some tarps, some sea shells and the lifeguard tower and mix in a few beach umbrellas, Chevy wagons, some babes and we have a party!

I'm thinking about putting something like this together, painted in white paint, that can be assembled & disassembled quickly, with carriage bolts/nuts....

With a palm rooftop like this...

And a lifeguard hottie like this...

Anyone know where we can get a volunteer for that?

I'll begin the interview process. Yeh I know it wil be a grueling task but I am a giving person, just built that way I guess. Shows I am willing to put it all on the line for you guys. I know it will be hard on me but sacrifices must be made!
I'll let you know from time to time how the interviews and selection process is going. Trust me on this, if I need help I won't be afraid to ask, although I likely won't need any help...BTW, anyone know where I should start? Been married for so many years I think I may have forgotten how to start the process, I know how to do the task but starting from the begining, hmmmm might need to be pointed in the right direction. LOL!
Hmmm let's see now, Disco's or Bars, or is it Grocery Stores, no, Shopping Centers, or is it...

Hi gang,
Been away for awhile, but thought I'd give a short updste on CFAC. The fairgrounds has made a lot of changes for this year. The center section of the show where we have the free psa tests has new decorative concrete with a fountain that comes up from the ground! No vehicles on the concrete unless plastic or covering under the cars to protect the finish. The entry at gate 4 will be off limits on the right hand side (entering) for vendor displays as they are going to be fencing it off for enlarging the Amphitheatre. Will probably add more vendors down the area just past Williams Classic. Will try to keep you all on the "Chevytalk Corner".

Will keep you in the loop as things progress!

On another note, sthe 56 wagon, but built a killer 406 Chevy for the 35 Dodge truck. Also inherited my older son's 68 4wd Chevy truck since he owes me so much. Will probaly bring it along to try to sell at the show.

Yeah...pretty please? We have some major cool decorating coming for this years CFAC Chevytalk spot and that corner is central to the plan...

You'll dig it. Everyone will dig it.

Art has offered his palapa and stand-up bar so we just need to get that thing there too. Shaping up like I'm gonna need to haul it all down in the back of my Furd truck and bring the wagon too...
