Surprised to hear. Did not know he was having problems. We were pretty good friends back in the day. Although we had lost contact.
RIP Randy.

Bill I think I am remembering the correct person. Was he from one of the southern states? Was he in a group here of 5 or 6 guys? Pretty smart guy?

Randy was from Maryland, but I believe he was originally from the South. He posted quite a bit in the early years. And yes, he was pretty intelligent.

I’m pretty sure he was from North Carolina. He lived in Salisbury, MD. He was very intelligent and a great guy.

I think Randy might have had an upholstery shop.
When I first joined we had some mutual friction.
But we talked it out and got along.

I remember a few stories about Randy, but one was when he called about an engine for sale at Petty Enterprises. When he called, Richard Petty answered the phone.

I just read on Facebook that long time ex CT member Randy W has passed. I knew he'd been in the hospital for the last couple of weeks for kidney failure but I assumed the stubborn old SOB would beat it and be back out soon. Tony may not, but I will miss that SOB a lot.
Oh man....I missed this. So sorry to hear he passed.
