I thought I would create this post for us to help remember some of the members we have known over the years who are no longer with us. Help us maintain a respectful thread to offer a remembrance of those past friends.

Then there's my little bro, Lanny Doughty (LDee)who passed January 10, 2012, and one of my very best friends, Charles Dennis (The Chuckster & Mater Man), also known as Cherrycoke, who passed in November of 2010. Miss you guys; bet you are talking Chevys as we speak.

I would love to have a file on just the things that Mike McVeigh said on Chevy Talk to others that needed help like me.
He was really a good guy to help like he did.
Also want to say Chevy Talk still has alot of great guys that will help those that love cars and those like Miracle Gasser (Rick) that want to finish but just cant by theirself.
Thanks to all ya'll.
Steve

About 9 or 10 years ago there was a guy on here that had a picture at the top of this site of his car, It was a two door hard top 55 that was Glacier Blue and Skyline blue Or maybe Glacier blue and White.
He had a site with pictures of his car before and after.Seem like he took the pictures in his driveway.
I dont remember his name But I was just wondering if hes still alive. Been a long time ago.

His username was Cool55 and his name was Roy. I often wonder what ever happened to him too. That nice 55 he had had the horn from my old 55 rustbucket.

There was also a member who, with his wife, owned two 59 4 door white hardtops that were identical. I think he passed a couple years ago. I recall the two cars were featured in the Late Great Chevy Magazine.

They were 1960 4 door HT's actually. He was from the Hummelstown, Pa. area. Their group still holds their annual VCCA barbaque dinner at Hershey every fall at a Legion Hall not far from the Swap Meet area. You're talking about Ron Flory. His wife is Judy.

Still have a pictuer around here at some event in Baltimore. Barb & I, Ron and Judy, And Bowtie Ollie. CT was about a year old and I printed up some business card size handouts with the CT logo.
Sent a gin and tonic to Ollie who was in the front of the room. He handed it to the guy at the podium who didn't drink. Damn near killed him.
