Just sold my 06 HHR, the family is growing and I need more space... I surely miss it!

I was thinking of my father who have tons of regrets of selling his Poncho's in the 60's... Will it happens to me?

Uplander are so ugly, I don't need a AWD or SUV. My choice stop at a 2008 Quest SE fully loaded. They have an original shape, yes a Japan car... Hate to do it.

Japanese minivan? Hey you have to do what you have to do for your kids. And you'll blend in with the neighborhood landscape; the kids don't like to be different these days, so there's benefits to not being unique. GM still made the Astro when my kids were little, so I was lucky enough to have a low top conversion decked out with ground effects, striping and wheels. Unfortunately no mfg does minivans like this anymore.

Last year I was due for an upgrade from my Pontiac Trans Sport and Chevy Lumina APV minivans. I have owned 20 something GM vehicles but found what I needed in a Ford Freestar SEL Minivan.

Great safety features and I was able to put a Windstar 3rd row seat in the middle row to get my 3 kids in the center to allow for space in the rear for traveling, hauling etc.

I put 16k on it in 14 months and it has been great. I get consistently 27mpg Highway fully loaded with the 4.2L.

BTW my family's car when I was a kid for the entire 1970's was a 69 Impala 327. I loved that car and it probably set the Chevy thing into me.
