I had this same problem about a month ago on a van that had been parked since 2008. Naturally the fuel pump was bad.....replaced that and had good fuel pressure. Still wouldn't start. Sprayed gas in the snorkel of the air cleaner and it would start and die. Kept putting off pulling the air cleaner because its a van and I wasn't looking forward to pulling the engine cover. It also has a propane conversion. Finally broke down and pulled it all off. Injectors weren't firing. Got frustrated and tapped one of them with a wrench. It started firing. Motor started and ran on one injector. Tapped on the other one and it started firing. Been starting and running great since.

You can also try to rent or borrow a noid test light to plug into the TBI connectors and have a helper crank the motor while you watch the noid light to see if it is blinking while cranking. If it does not blink on and off then you know that you have a eletronic / wiring / ECU / Ignition related problem.
