Not sure if this has been posted before. GM Heritage info kits direct from GM. Free to download, or $50 for a printed copy.

I can't take credit for the find, found this info on the '67 - '70 forum, posted by astrojet427.
For earlier years, click on "Chevrolets (All Models Not Listed Below)", just below "Chevrolet Vehicle Information Kits:"

Yep, there is some really cool info in there, isn't there? I'm thinking about paying the $50 and ordering the 1958 documents, it looks like you get more than what you can download for free, unless I'm reading that wrong. Great stuff!

Hi Hobart,

Problem with the $50.00 copy is that they Xerox it and the quality is rather poor. They also provide a manual of GM Restoration parts vendors.

Personally, I would download the pdf and save the $50.00.

GM Canada has a much better program. I love how they can tell you the complete history by VIN.
Sure stops the "clone guys" dead in their tracks....

Happy Holidays,

This an excellant source for info, it's always been available, it's much earier over the internet. I got this info back in the nineties for several of my cars. Back then you dialed a 800 number and waited forever but it was free back then.

Mark,
Click on the "ARCHIVE" tab at the top of the page and when it opens, on the left hand side of the page click on "CLICK HERE TO BROWSE AND DOWNLOAD....." and it will open another page.

Now... if you click on 'Impala', you will NOT find a listing for 1958. Instead, above those model selections is a line indicated as CHEVROLET (All models not listed below) >> SHOW.

Click on SHOW and you'll find it.
