I was wondering if anyone can tell me where to get a decal I've seen on several HHR's in my area it looks like the side trim on a 57 belair, it has a small bowtie and says classic on it. I've asked a couple HHR owners no one seems to know they said it was on the car when they bought it, any help would be greatly appreciated, as I want to make my HHR look like its older brothers

It may be a local dealership trying to make a limited production vehicle by slapping on side decals. Find out if the ones that haver the decal has some sort of dealer script on it somewhere. JB

All the ones I have looked closely at have no markings on them other than the word Classic written in old script next to a gold Chevy bowtie, the trim itself runs the length of the car flaring out towards the rear with simulated aluminum in the flare as I said it looks just like 57 belair trim I have noticed that at least 2 of them came from the same dealership which unfortunately was one of the Chevy dealers to loose the franchise they are however still in business selling used cars, next time i get near their place im going to ask about but I'm afraid of the usual sales man ignorance. I will try thr parts counter too

Ive finally found an owner who knew the dealer ship the decals came from as she had to have one replaced due to a scratch. I plan to go to the dealership next week

1959 4 door Impala -- "You bought your dad that car? it looks like the Batmobile"
1977 Chrysler Cordoba -- It's a Mopar, but it's a nice looking Mopar!

No Roger thats not the decal I was refering to the decal I'm talking about looks like the sidetrim of a 57 Chevy and runs along the top of the doors I have been able to track down the dealership where several of the HHR have come from but have been unable to get there due to time constraints and the locality of the dealership but as soon as I can get there and get some more information I will share it

Hey Winch, i may have been the one who fixed the scratch. I did'nt do the emblem/decal. The one i did was purple/blue.

Call John Rodreges. Well, i can't find his number. Call Breeze, ESC, or almost any body shop, and ask for his number. He installs, and can find almost any stripe. He works for all the shops, and does'nt advertise. His number is at work.

The one i did looks like it's an inch thick, but is in reality, just a decal.
