1967 Impala SS Convertible.

Found her on eBay, but turned out to be local. Went over and had a test drive and fell in love. Only 1450 miles on a rebuild, and nearly all mechanicals just replaced (brakes, mufflers, etc.) Ended up getting a great deal on it. Future plans include: convert to a manual transmission, possibly add AC, upgrade the stereo - gotta have tunes to cruise!

Some gorgeous cars here!

My 1969. Bought new by my Grandfather's first cousin Flossie. 57,000 actual miles.

327cid 245hp, A/C, P/S, AM radio. A tiny amount of rust, and 90% original paint. Fingerhut dealer installed seat covers since new.

Flossie said it never spent a night outside the garage in it's life. She sold it to me in 2007. I don't drive it much, but I keep it nice and in climate controlled storage with my other cars. I put all new brakes on it in 2008, and took the engine out and re-sealed it and did a valve job in 2011. (It had one burnt valve which caused a slight misfire) Some images of the car we call "Flossie"

...my 68 Impala 9 pass wagon, all "unrestored " original except I took off the wheels / hub caps and put on magnum's with the SS centers. My uncle bought it new, sold it to me in 1981 for $200.00. 137,000 miles and runs excellent. 327 4bbl, turbo 400, posi, rare 3rd seat. Interior is still excellent and he raised 6 kids. Factory lacquer paint is cracking on hood and roof, but I'm not touching it. A car is original only once. I have the bill of sale too.

My $1000 67 Biscayne 4 door. Running the stock 283 with a power glide right now.

Going to pull the 283 for a 350 I've built-
4 bolt 350 block
forged rods
flattop Hyperetutetic pistons, Around 10 to 1 compression.
462 double hump heads, mild port job, new Valve springs
214/224 deg cam, .444/.466, Comp Roller timing chain
Edelbrock RPM intake with a Holley 600 something carb.
Full tube headers, duels and glass packs.
Power glide is getting yanked for a TH350 with an aftermarket valve body and floor shifter.

It's going to be a super sleeper.

A lot has happened with my Biscayne since I posted this. It now has a legitimate L72 427. Here is an updated picture.

Greg, Photobucket has changed their policy. If you share your photos on another website (like ChevyTalk), they want $400 per year to do that. That's why you don't have an avatar.

Let me know when you tell Photobucket to stuff it!

Hello guys. I recently got this 86,000 mile Impala from the original owners neighbor. I'm third owner. The front drivers fender got smashed last year when it was sitting in a parking lot. Its all original unrestored. Base, 327, No power anything, no a/c. Azure Turquoise with Ermine White top, cloth turquoise interior. Limited rust.
