Very nice. I do not know why I did not like that model when they were new. I guess I am just now maturing enough to like them. JB

my great grandmother had a 74 4 door malibu, that was the first automatic car she ever got, my dad when he was little was pushing it out of the garage becasue the battery was dead, tried to jump in the window when it got rolling and got pinned in the window and the garage door frame, lol

That red Elky looks good, and I do not like most red cars from the mid 70s. I will get some mud flaps just like those on the red Elky for mine. That way no one behind me will know how wide my tires are and they will NOT be able to get in the front to see. JB

It wasnt easy in the sixties and seventies, but after that there have been an ever expanding row of speed shops and importers of cars and parts.
I had a Ford F350 in the eighties..the man i rented the garage from, had owned it when new..he couldnt get parts for it 3 years after he bought it..had to wait for months for brake pads and similar stuff.
He questioned mye intentions of restoring it,but his eyes where quite big when i ordered parts for it,and got them .
I think both Ford and Gm dealer ships, just wanted to sell their european brands, and didnt want their customers to be satisfied with their american cars..
Nowadays its easy to get parts from US too..4-6 days, and we usually have the parts in our hands..
