I kind of like this site. Mildly helpful when selecting tire/rim combos. It's also helpful having the two tire diagrams side by side to compair front and rear combos.
You all may have seen this, but if not, here you go....

that is a great site
Here is a site that was very helpful to me when I was trying to figure out the tires to put on my 55
dont be scared by the dodge emblem on the site
its a great site shows a lot of variations of what the MPH change would be etc

Step 6
To measure rim width:
This is most easily accomplished if the tire is dismounted from the rim. Measure from the
inside tire seat to the outside tire seat. Do not measure the width between the two ridges as this will often be very inaccurate.
If this is not an option due to tool considerations then you can read the tire, you will find a code similar to: "P205/40R16". The "R16" part is the rim width.

This site doesn't do a 57 chevy as 14".
Yes most will go to 15 but I wanted to see the 14" figures. Otherwise nice site.
