I've had no issue with the difference in length between a saginaw 4 speed and the super t10, used the same driveshaft for both.

Thank you for the reply, ozzie7!! I didn't see it until now. I'm still waiting to hunt down some shifter parts, but I did purchase a driveshaft from Show Cars.

Hey ozzie7, thank you for the info!! I know this is late response but I'm horrible at rememberimg to check back on posts regularly. I really do appreciate the help! How did your M20 swap go? Did you use the stock crossmember or did you have to move it? I just pulled the three speed out of my car tonight and am going to rebuild the driveshaft at work this week, then hopefully get the M21 in by Friday night to go cruising.

Edit: I didn't see that I already replied, but that just goes to show it's a genuine thanks! HAHA!!

Shorty... I sent you a PM with a link to a thread I started over at the 348-409 site that has more details about the transmission change.
But in general I used the same cross-member and mount in the same position as they were with the 3 speed.
The swap went well but I kept finding little things to replace as I went through the process.
It's that last 10 percent of the project that took 90 percent of the time.

Here's the link to the thread over at the 348-409 site:
