Does the pin on the combination valve need to be depressed to do a gravity bleed? Does it need to be depressed to do a regular bleed? Does both rear brakes (and front after that is done)need to be open at the same time during a gravity bleed?

The pin doesn't need to be depressed for any kind of bleeding and you can do one circuit at a time.

That's good. I fixed the front circuit and gravity bled the whole thing. I haven't test driven it yet but I think it's all set. I kept getting bubbles from the right front caliper so I might need to do the fronts the traditional way to get them right. Glad that's done!
