i wonder if these are new parts being manufactured or is this a used set.

it would be awsum to hear a manufacturer is finally making manual pedals for out cars.

Holy Boogers Batman!!

It looks like they are new parts! It's odd to me what they pick and choose to reproduce. Maybe, eventually they will have some trim parts too.

A few reproduction parts I know of are:

1. These clutch pedal setups
2. Side marker lights
3. Front bumper parking/turn signal lamps
4. Sill plates
5. Carpet
6. Seat upholstery
7. Door panels
8. 350/454 front fender emblems
9. El Camino/Wagon tail lights

The list is getting a little longer...but still not long enough. These are specific parts. I know there are lots of running gear parts, suspension, stuf like that that are being reproduced, but allot of those are "accidentally" (for lack of a better term) the same as our G3's.

boy I really veered to the left of the subject this time...WOOPS!!

As you were fellas!

You'd still do it cheaper to just find a complete donor car and take all the parts off of it.

Theres one up on ebay right now that is less than you would pay for a transmission.

That way, you know you are getting everything from the correct steering column to the correct driveshaft. If you're lucky you might find one with a posi, a big block and occasionally they even pop up with the correct console.

Plus, you can take your old parts and put them in the parts car and resell it to recoup some funds.

Still nice to know you can get the goodies when you want em. The setups don't surface that much eh!

Maligoon the Elky is a whole car which looks rough but is in Calif maybe not much rust if it's been there most of its life.

The $1850 transmission I posted is a Tremec TKO 500. A heavy duty 5 speed trans which can handle a big block. This is an overdrive medium duty trans similar to a T-5 but much beefier comes from the tremec meduim duty designs not from the borg warner designs. The bellhousing is custom to mate the trans and motor and comes with the trans quote. The kits would be useless for the G-3's as all the other parts would not fit. We would need to fab up the crossmember mounts and shifter location etc..

TCET4616 TKO-500 for GM (550HP Street) Brand New TREMEC TKO-500 5-speed for GM (550HP Street). Standard tailhousing and shifter. Ratios: 3.27, 1.98, 1.34, 1.0, 0.68. Spline: 26/31 (GM length). Best Price Guarantee - CALL!

It's a salvage title !

I also suspect the 4 speed is not factory.

The 4 speed parts being reproduced may bring the value of original cars down some since you can now 'build your own'.
