WOW! This has been one of the most fun threads I`ve seen in a long time! And very informative, too. So far, we`ve learned:

Brian is a transplanted Buckeye---Kevin is addicted to Chevys---Bob likes beer---Jim is open to options---Craig is in the witness protection program---Jeff doesn`t glue the corners---Joey played guitar in 1990---Lloyd is a man of few words---Bill`s car is older than he is---Dinah thinks a name is just a name---Bob is good at spelling---Cort is a travelling man---Tom has a drink named after him---Joe keeps the busses running---Dennis`s uncle had the name first---Randy gave his KoolAid to the dog---John watches Saturday Night Live---Ken`s car is reinCARnated---Paul likes flying Mustangs---Art doesn`t hang on walls---Art (the other one)has weeds in the backyard---John`s is at home---Robert is not related---Brendan is a slacker---Adam doesn`t want to get caught---Dave likes guessing games---Dino wants to give you a tour---John likes his Jimmy---Bruce knows a lot about women!

The only thing I`m sure of, is that I`m not sure of anything.

I put my name to my signature area a while back. But my given name is Joseph. My father was also Joseph, so they called me Jay to cut down on the confusion. My older sister (by 14 years) continuously calls her son Jay instead of his given name because he reminds her so much of me when I was younger. I don't think she means in a good way either.

Most everyone knows what my name is altho some of you have called me by other names. The 44 after my name was my racing number when I was young and foolish and loved to fly motorcycles. I've met several CT members, and I consider it an honor to be able to share some time with such a great group of friends. Thanks

Actually Cort, he was born and raised at Homestead OK but was retired and living in Trinity Texas. Unfortunately, he and his wife were killed by a drunk/drug impared driver about 3 years ago. As for this being a fun thread, I agree. In fact, this a fun forum even thought some of the participants may get a bit testy at times. But...for the most part, the discourse is carried on at a very high level and the BS detectors are in good working order. I frankly love a good argument amongst ladies and gentlemen.

Mine would be Jeff. I've found out I'm one of the "other" of about 5 Jeffs on here. Lucas is the last name. No relation that I know of to the movie guy or the oil guy.
However, I did have a relative in the movie biz back in the 20s. Seems they called him Slim. And he drove the stage coach in the Marx Bros. movie (among others) "Go West".
We even have a letter from 1928 or so from him writing "back home" telling of how they were making like, 22 pictures in 22 weeks. As far as I know that was the last anyone here ever heard of him.
He disappeared without a trace.
Go West was made in 1940 so, he was alive then anyway.
Needless to say, I'm staying here in Tennessee.
