When I joined the website, I couldn't come up with anything cool like the rest of you guys. I was born without imagination and haven't cultivated that yet. I do have a bunch of old chevys because I collected every one I could find to make up for the 20 years I was in the Air Force and couldn't have them.
Now the avatar can be taken several ways. "You can't have too many Chevy's" or I have too many Chevy's to finish before I die.
Any way my name is Mearl, nice to meet you all.

My names Terry, but since you are a Chevy fan you can call me friend. My avatar name is fairly obvious if you've seen my car.

Hi all my name is Mark Lorette, I live in NH. I came across this site on a whim, and I am glad I did I think every person on here is a real straight up person, and I am glad I found it! I am a first time owner of American history I bought my 1949 Chevy deluxe in homage to my grandfather, I have an old black and white picture of him kissing my grandmother on the hood of that car (when it was new) and I bought it as a project for myself and my father her names Roberta, she is not quite a numbers car due to the 235 swap we did, but I love her shes rusty mean and chubby like her owner!!! nice meeting all of you.

Added my first name to my signature.. thanks for the suggestion Juergen, stellar idea.
As for my member name: My last ground up build is my '27 Ford RPU, built as a homage to "Lakes Roadsters".
My Grandpa was a huge Ford Model T fan, lived and breathed all things "T".... that's the reason for the out of character "Ford" build.

I hope I got that right.

Nearly 2 years since the last reply. Topic was started way back in 'o6. I have no clue if I ever responded to the topic. First, my nick ... I owned an '83 Suburban with a ratty 305 automatic in it when I joined the forum. Gchemist has helped me several times. Anyway, my first name is Ric or, Rick. It should be in my profile. I will check after this to be sure.
