I just got a 78 Impala 305 ci 2 barrel carb. Almost all of the vacuum lines are blocked off or missing. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get an manual with the layout of all the vacuum lines. I already have the Haynes manual and it does not have what I need. Thank you for any help

Hi trippy,

Welcome to ChevyTalk!!

Sorry for the delayed response. This particular forum doesn't see a whole lot of activity.

Anyway, there's some 1979 vacuum line diagrams at:

But they're a bit small and hard to read.

Here's a 1977 305/2bbl diagram that's easier to read:

I'm guessing that the 77 diagram should be very similar to your 78. The major difference between the 77 and 79 diagrams seems to be in the vapor recovery canister. So you'll want to use whichever diagram pertains to your type of canister.
