Looks like GM proved the naysayers wrong on every count!

I saw the new Camaro at the Tampa Bay auto show. It was guarded by a rent-a-cop so you couldn't sit in it. It is even better looking and larger, in my opinion, than it appears in the photos. The mirrors are strange though. The Camaro's wheelbase is about 5" longer and it weighs at least 300# more than the current Mustang GT. By Chevy specs. 3860# "curb Weight" for the SS with man. trans.
