Upon initial installation I find I need an additional bracket kit (200L) to relocate my alternator. OK, another week and $100....only to find I need to stack washers between bracket and intake to mount it. Now the kick....washers raise the bracket and rear(2nd back) intake bolt so that I cannot get my temp sender back in (which had to be removed to take out the original intake bolt)....I suppose my options are some other hokey setup or modifying a perfectly good $90 bracket???
No mention of possibly needing the bracket with kit info when ordering and the bracket seems to be a bit of overkill @ 1/4" thick plate throughout! 40 years in dealership parts biz and never seen an alternator bracket that heavy!
