Hi all.
I’m putting my wife’s Camaro back together after paint and I need a headliner. I have never done a headliner so I’m sure I will be asking questions. I have the original with the rods in the correct locations but I did not mark the holes they were in so that’s my first question. YouTube videos always say use the same locations so any info on the subject would be appreciated. Also I have not ordered the replacement. Is there anything to consider when ordering from different suppliers. Quality level?
The rods are different lengths so after you remove the old headliner you should be able to play with the rods against the roof to identify which location they need to be in. The longest rod is in the middle.
Thanks! My rods are still in my old headliner so that should be easy. Are the different holes just needed to make sure the rods are tight to the roof clips?
Just to clarify the three holes peer rod end are at different heights and Youtube people say to make sue you mark them before removing without saying why. I did not mark them years ago...
