Was it just me, or did you guys notice a more aggressive style of driving yesterday? Some of those guys couldn't catch a break, some of them seemed to hash out frustration on other drivers, and some just managed to stay out of the fray long enough to get to the front and get a shot at a win at the end.

Congrats to Junior Blaney. He's showing prowess...

The problem is the low hp/high downforce package. There were only 1 or 2 passes for the lead while actually racing. The rest of the passing happened on pit road or on restarts. So that lead to aggressiveness which usually didn't pay off either.

A couple of weeks ago I heard Jeff Burton say that it's harder to drive an Xfinity car on these 1.5 and 2 mile tracks than it is to drive a Cup car. That just shouldn't be the way it is. Oddly, it was the same Jeff Burton who said that Xfinity cars shouldn't be so easy to drive a couple of years ago, especially for drivers aspiring to move up.

Lots of HP with the aerodynamics of a brick would make racing worth watching again. It's really surprising how NASCAR can't figure that out. Actually, it isn't...
