Hello All:
My name is Kenneth (Ken) and I have owned a 62 Nova since 19. I had a lot of fun with that car, but also got into a lot of trouble. Long story short, The local authorities felt it was best that the car be pulled off the roads by way of citation overload. I did deserve it. As I get older and look back it scares me the things I did in it. Thanks to the "Universe" I never hurt anyone in it.
That being said, I can't let it go and am kinda in a pinch. I need to move it but it's in pieces. I took it a part with the mind of restro modding it years ago and then became paralyzed in 2000. it's been undercover in a garage since then. Life changed for me as I went to school and took a whole new path. Now that I'm in a better position I need to move it to another location.
Years ago on ebay I ran across a set of casters that bolt to the front subframe mounting location: which gave you the ability to roll it around. I have not been able to find those anymore, and was wondering if any of you guys know where I can get them?
I ran across a full body roller kit for Mustangs. The kit bolted to the leaf spring location, as well as to the front. Does anyone know if these types of kit are available for Chevy ii? The car is on jack-stands on all four corners so a kit, or something, can bolt in easy enough for me to do by myself. Springs and rear-end placement would be a serious pain.
Keep in mind that this move is for storage only for several months with the mind of moving to yet another location for business. So a "body kit" of some sort would be better as I wouldn't have to tear the car apart again to began the rebuild. This is going to be my old fart car. Something to "go out" in.. slow with my girl.
Thanks,
Kenneth

Make your own or welding shop could make them. I'd buy the wheels and have them weld them up for you.

How far do you need to move it? Back end strapped to a dolly if some distance? Fork lift(s) to put on a trailer?

Yeah, those are what I'm looking for, thanks. I have come to the conclusion I'll have to make a kit and that photo helps out a lot.
Do you know how tall they are? Height looks right.
Thanks for all the replies. I'm new here and was looking for an email. I'm excited to get into this car again and share my experience. Take care.

No sir, I don't. I saw them on one of the Nova forums back when I had a 67 ChevyII. There are several of them out there.
