....unless I smack the rear tail light housings with a closed fist! LOL
The tail light bulbs are seated nicely, I carefully put the housing back on, then same old problem....rapid flash, unless I give the housing a good smack.
So, could the bulbs be so old that the terminals don't make good contact? Where is the ground for S-10 turn/brake lights?
Thanks in advance, folks!
Matt ('49 Chevy,'89 S-10)

Yea, replace the bulbs. Or disconnect the battery, then clean the terminals. Grounds are on the left side behind the wheel on Blazers and Jimmys. Should be the same for trucks. It depends on which side the wiring harness follows the frame rail.

Thanks for the quick reply; I'll try that.
When you say the ground is "behind the wheel", do you mean front or rear wheels? One ground for each socket?
Thanks again!
Matt

Behind the rear wheels. If the socket assemblies are really bad, replace them. Most parts stores have them.

It's amazing how new bulbs with nice domed terminals solved my problem.
Thx to all,
Matt
