I recently purchased a 1987 Chevrolet 5/4 M1008 4x4 truck with 6.2 liter Diesel. I purchased it from an estate not running with no batteries - I purchased a pair of new matching batteries yesterday to install - I am reading that they require to be wired Series ? or parallel -- before I hook anything up does anyone have a diagram ? there are cables but they have been replaced in the past so not properly color coded

2plus2, nice document sharing.

Welcome to the site. Do you plan to restore it or use it as a work horse? I remember driving and riding in M1008 trucks. No comfort accessories what so ever. I see one on the road now and then. For more information and help go to
I would like to ride in one someday.
