I bought a 63 C-10 that has a 350 In it and the ol granny 4 speed cant remember the tech. term for it. Any way looking the thing over the motor towers are welded to the frame and cross member. The towers look just like the ones that are on my 69-C10.

I believe the 6 Cyl towers and V8 towers on a '63 are the same. I replaced a 230 in my '65 C10 with a 327 and even used the same motor mounts that were used to install the I6. The tranny you have should be a SM420. The bellhousing is used to mount the rear of the engine. Both my '65 and my brother's '63 that came with a 327 were identical.

Thanks for the feedback,Been trying to decipher what the guy was doing on this. I can see about 1/8 " of the frame hole on the drvs. side and about 1/2 " on the pass. side.
