hi can any body help me i bought a this 55 chevy truck and it has a 1972 c10 frame sits good but the thing i see is that the front wheel stick out even that they are skinnies 15" wheels what could i change to make them fit more inside the fender or can i change the front cross member from another year that has shorter a arms and spindles please help thanks

Changing the crossmember won’t do anything. The suspension probably mounts on the actual frame rails. That is the biggest problem with frame swaps, things like wheelbase and track width don’t always coincide with what was original. Shorter control arms would probably adversely affect suspension geometry and performance. And since you already have narrow wheels a greater offset won’t really make much difference. The S10 frame swap has the opposite problem, it decreases track width too much and either has the wheels too far inward or requires wheel spacers.
