I have a 64 327 365 hp engine and it's missing the idler assembly. I found a used one for sale on Craiglist but the seller doesn't know if it's original or reproduction. Can one of the Corvette experts out there help me determine if it is reproduction or original? Are there clues? For example, is the original pulley cast and the reproduction one stamped and welded? Or, does the original pulley have a part number stamped into it whereas the reproduction unit does not? Are there other identifying features? I can post pictures of the used part I'm looking at if that would help. Thank-you in advance.
