I am, for the most part, unable to get out of the driver's door from inside. From outside, it opens right up. I have the door panel(card) removed, and adjusted the inside handle mechanism back and forth, no change. I tried to adjust the striker and latch, appears to be no adjustment. It looks like the rod that attaches the handle to the latch maybe isn't moving enough, hence why I originally adjusted the handle as far forward as possible.

Let me know if you have any ideas.

Thank you

Kurt

sometimes it just needs some grease. spray lithium is my go to. can you pull the rod and open the door?

As others have said try some lithium spray grease on the linkage. if its working from the outside I doubt its the striker or latch, most likely the linkage binding or bent. Take the door panel off the pass side and compare?
